This course provides intermediate to advanced instruction in the use of the carbine and pistol, focusing on skills specific to urban gunfighting. The following skills will be covered:
- Shooting from various positions (i.e. standing, kneeling, prone, etc.)
- Shooting techniques and positions from inside and outside a vehicle or structure
- Basic ballistic theory involved in shooting through glass
- One hand manipulation with Carbine and Pistol
- Tactical Casualty Care under fire
- Two-man and team tactics for urban gunfighting (i.e. "leap-frogging", target specific suppressive fire, etc.)
- Individual, two-man, and team movement
- Basic Room/Structure Clearing (i.e. threat areas/entries)
